[About] Can the visualplanet touchfoil™ be used with Bluetooth devices

Customers have had experience running the touch screen with a Bluetooth to serial adapter.

The touchfoil gets its power from Pin 4 of the 9 way 'D' Serial connector, but the standard wiring for bluetooth devices traditionally have this pin unused. However, Pin 7 is available to provide power instead.

Make a 9 way 'D' male to female adaptor that connects:

• Pin 2 to Pin 2 (Communications)
• Pin 5 to Pin 5 (OV)
• Pin 4 to Pin 7 (Power 7 - 12 Volts @ 5mA)
