[Driver] Warnings when Installing/Downloading multiple drivers

If you have installed more than one Driver from our Auto Install CD, or if you have downloaded more than one driver from our Downloads area then please consider the following points.

If you have been using one driver and wish to begin using another driver for a different touchfoil™ please Stop and Exit the first driver. This is done by selecting "File" then selecting "Stop and Exit" in MA7 Control. You may then open your other driver.

In the event of not selecting "Stop and Exit" the MA7 Driver will still be running in your Task Manager processes and your computer will not yet recognise the second driver. To remedy this please follow these instructions:

• Open "Task Manager"
• View the "Processes" tab
• Look for "MA7_Driver.exe"
• Select the corresponding process and click "End process"

By using the wrong driver you will experience an inability to calibrate in the "Calib" tab of MA7

To ensure you are using the correct driver please select "Help" and "About..." to display which driver is in use. (This relies on the driver information being maintained in the event of rebranding the software)

In the event of installing/downloading more than one driver it is essential that you save the files for each driver in different folders on your computer. When launched, the MA7 Driver creates an .ini file that the software is dependant on and each different driver has a different .ini file.

Only one driver number can be used per visualplanet touchfoil™. Please note the driver number is shown in the following location:

• The touchfoil's tail
  
• The touchfoil driver CD label
• The Copyright tab of MA7 Control
• The Help / About menu of the touchfoil driver
  
• The touchfoil's part number
